Hello wise ladies.... I started itching at 20 wks and now I am 23 wks.. my liver enzymes were slightly raised when I was tested for the first time... till that time my bile acid results we're not out,so even without seeing bile acid result my doc put me on urso 250 mg (thrice a day) and cetrizine at night as my liver enzymes were but high and I was itchy on hands and legs( not on palms and feet though ). Now my bile acid results have come which I have attached below...it's in the normal range and my second liver function test results are also in normal range( thankfully ). But I am still itchy... not severe though ... now my MFM doubt that it's not ICP and wants me to stop urso and observe for some time... what wedding garment to wear for a busty brides
I have still insisted on getting my liver enzymes and bile acid test again as I am still itchy.... now my question is
1) Should I stop urso?
2)Is it possible that I may not have ICP and it may me something else?
3) kindly have a look at my bile test results and please advise is it the right test or is there some other bile acid test especially for pregnancy?
