We got married exactly at 3.20pm one year ago at the court house in the valley. It was a simple ceremony with sparkling water instead of champagne as I was 6 months pregnant, no veil or wedding dress as, well, I was 6 months pregnant, no reception as the only people there were David's parents-Diane and Mark, and judge Buck Allen. It was special though because judge Allen married Diane and Mark exactly 32 years ago in this very valley. He told us that in his 50 years of officiating marriages, he never did it with 2 generations in a family like ours. So he waived the 50 dollars fee that's kosher to his job.
