Board of Directors
Her son went to 2 weeks of public school kindergarten, and Tracy realized it was not the place for her exceptional son. After those 2 weeks he never returned to the institution we call school. Her daughter went until 3rd grade and then joined her brother, Mom and Dad at home. Today they are a joyous family, living and learning together. Tracy’s passion is the unschooling lifestyle and helping families transition into this new way of life. She hopes to be of service here on the board of School’s Out Support Accountability Association in any and all ways possible. To learn more about Tracy you can visit her website at www.transformingfamily.com or join her yahoo group for Charleston area unschoolers at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/chazunschoolers/ Advisor to the Board Deborah Todus-White
I have been working in the Local, State and National Homeschool Communities for 12 years. I worked on the SC59-65-47 from it's beginning and celebrated it's passing with many other wonderful South Carolina homeschoolers who helped to see this law become reality. I was founder and CEO of Teacher's Ink, Inc. One of the first Associations under SC59-65-47. I retired from Teacher's Ink after the "New Law" was no longer new and the Association had grown up and was ready to leave "mom". I was one of the Founding Mothers of T.E.A.C.H. The first inclusive homeschool support group in the Charleston Tri-County area which is still serving homeschoolers today. I have worked with and served as consultant for several of the 47 Associations and Support Groups through out the years. I have enjoyed every moment of watching them grow and provide SC homeschoolers with many more options than when my children starting homeschooling! I have worked with and served as Board Member of the National Home Educator's Association. I have been interviewed locally and nationally as the homeschooling movement has grown from its grassroots beginnings onto the national stage and now its world wide forum. I remain on many Homeschool Contact lists and still receive calls asking about South Carolina homeschooling and homeschooling in general. I have enjoyed each and every moment and look forward to learning as we all continue to grow! |
