School's Out Support (SOS) Accountability Association is a secular, minimally-invasive organization created for the purpose of providing an Option 3 (59-65-47) accountability association for unschoolers and relaxed homeschoolers in South Carolina.

We encourage members to be confident in their decision to unschool within the laws of South Carolina. We do NOT support H$LDA in any way and recommend that members read and clearly understand the state homeschooling statutes. SOS recommends the National Home Education Legal Defense (http://www.nheld.com/) for legal questions. SOS will only require from its members the minimum required by law, and we will only give the state the minimum required by law.

We are available to help members learn how to keep records and make diplomas and transcripts, but we will not *provide* these services.

SOS will provide each family with a member letter and each member with a laminated member card.
